Hi, My name is Billy Newport and together with John Stecher, we created this web site. My day job is a software architect with IBM working on middleware products and helping customers.

I have a blog where I talk about whats happening with my car, a 1999 Porsche 996 Carrera 4.

For those who think a 996 has too high a ride height, here's a cheap way of lowering it to GT3 height, drive it at 120mph :) This is me at between 120-135mph about to start braking or maybe just starting to brake to 45 for turn 3 at Brainerd International Raceway. The car has stock suspension but check out how much lower it is because of the downforce produced by the car at that speed.
