Introduction

Head North on Interstate 85 from Atlanta, Georgia and you'll soon find yourself near one of the World's great racetracks. Road Atlanta is home to the annual 1000 mile endurance race, the Petit Le Mans. Owned by Don Panoz (who also owns IMSA and it's ALMS series as well as the Panoz car manufacturer alongside his son Danny), Road Atlanta is the spiritual home of sportscar racing in the US. Many teams and drivers are located within just a short drive of the facility, not to mention it is the home of the Panoz racing school and the IMSA offices.

Road Atlanta is also known for hosting the annual Walter Mitty historic sportscar event and the Big Kahuna AMA Sportbike event. For many years, it hosted the SCCA runoffs and is still the site for a major regional event. The calendar has seen events such as the Ferrari Challenge, One Lap of America, BMW CCA Club Racing, PCA Club Racing, dozens of HPDE (driving schools) and much more. Y'all come on down to visit!
