Motel 6 in Benbrook is a good hotel. It's within driving distance and has a starbucks/wafflehouse right next door. Most of the restaurant options are in Benbrook area off Bryant Irvan Dr at I20. Hampton Inn is a welcome spot for HHonors members. I use points when staying there and the bed's are nice!! The drive back to the track is about 20minutes depending on traffic conditions (20mins slow/ 15mins fast). Hampton has a nice breakfast, hot and cold options. You won't need to stop for coffee, unless you want a Starbucks. Here's a lap of 1:18.04 in the wet This is the fastest lap (timed from video)from an afternoon session before I ran into traffic again (in Dec) on the 1.3 course (Apex Driving Academy). You can see a dry line forming on the track but you can also see standing water still and some puddles, so it is still a little slick out for this run, and still drizzling.
