Billy Newport Porsche 944 sp1

I decided on Nov 4th 2006 to stop doing HPDE in my Porsche 996 and instead use an SP1 class Porsche 944 instead. I had been thinking about upgrading the suspension on my 996 but the cost was 5k. I figured, I can build an sp1 for double that and be done with it. I'm hoping this is going to be cheaper than tracking the 996 and from all accounts, that should be the case and it'll be a lot safer also.

Step 1, Buy a car

  * Try get a manual rack
  * LSD is a must
  * Hawk Blue pads
  * Oil Baffle kit
  * 2.3L AFFF fire system 2 zone
  * SFI 45.1 roll bar padding
