Default New to Wiki, saying Hi

hey guys, new to this forum... and to track racing, Ive always wanted to do it, but havent had the means yet... sofar just enjoying it on my PS2 in the form of GT4

Ive always been intrested in racing... my favorite style of racing is well, lets just say a little taboo, but fun none the less, Touge Racing. (I havnt found any touges though lol) Im not much for Nascar stuff, theres no fun in going around a in a circle really fast... Im more of a attack the corners type guy

As i said, im new to the track... infact, ive never been to one... but as soon as i get a car that i feel confident that wont fall apart in 2-3 laps, ill start going... but for now im sticking to Auto and Rally-crossing for nowmy arsenal includes my baby, my 1987 Mazda RX-7 GXL(Zoom-Zoom) and my new favorite... my 1987 BMW 325i Sedan...

Rightnow im with the Mazda Sports Car Club of NC and they do alot of track stuff, so hopefully ill be able to go, but figgured i'd better learn asmuch as possiable before I go

hope to see you at the track

Welcome aboard sailor. You've come to the right place. AutoX and RallyX are both good ways to prep for your first track day. I did close to 15 AX's before my first day at a track. I still do both. When you "get a car that won't fall apart after 2-3 laps". Just dive right in, there willl be an instructor their to break your fall.

welcome , if it helps any i never went to any auto x or anything before my first track day last summer, and while going into it i was nervous and outside my comfort level at first on the track, my instructor really did make me feel comfortable, and you only go as fast as you feel comfortable anyhow and the instructor will work on making you faster from there
