Trackpedia.com Fantasy F1 League 2011
Yes, it's back! In spite of some uncertainty about whether or not the first race will be run, it's time to build your teams. If Bahrain happens as planned, it will be in 3 weeks. You can make unlimited changes until the first practice in Bahrain... so go ahead and take a stab now... and as you read the news and refine your theories, you can refine your teams.
The moderator had some server problems and has moved to a new server. You may have to switch to English on your first visit.

Once you've made your teams, you'll need to join the "Trackpedia Fantasy F1 League 2011" Go to "Leagues", select "Individual Private Leagues" and you should find us there. The password is "tpleague".
Enjoy!

Extra Time - Bahrain cancelled/postponed
Looks like we all get a little extra time...
The Crown Prince of Bahrain informed Bernie Ecclestone today that the season-opening F1 race in that country will be canceled "to focus on immediate issues of national interest."
It sounds like they'll try and run it in the fall if things get straightened out.

Quote:
New parts arrived for Mercedes GP's W02 late Thursday at the Circuit de Catalunya and Michael Schumacher had the opportunity to test the revised car on Day Four of the final pre-season test.
The German, using the revised front wing and new turning vanes, clocked a 1:21.249 to set the pace ahead of Ferrari's Fernando Alonso. Schumacher's lap time was also the fastest witnessed at Barcelona this year.

Two weeks, plenty of time. I'm testing some new parts myself but I'll make the grid.

That decision will be made in about 2 weeks time,
no need to rush.

Methinks picking a fastest race lap is going to be VERY difficult
Can't wait to get home to watch the practice... pretty sure I'm suffering withdrawls.
Do we know what they ended up doing with the Wings for practice? Were they allowed to use them when/where ever? Or were they limited to the approved zones?
