Default Now that iracing has league capability...

Anyone interested in setting up a semi-regular night?

While I STILL haven't got my iMac yet, I did get a cheap vid card that's letting me run some on this POS Dell... not sure how long it'll last, but it's better than nothing.

Thoughts?

Ehh... doesn't matter anyway. Cheap ass POS PC can't handle actual "race" conditions. Ran a SRF race this afternoon, and while I made it throught, it was so jumpy and choppy as to make it really not fun. Lost .5 safety points too

the pc... It's fine if I'm testing by myself... Maybe a slight hiccup here or there, but with other cars on track, I get that half-second freeze every couple secs.

I was getting that too until I turned down the details. Sorry to hear it's not doable.

Yeah, that was as low as I could get it... I even deleted the steering wheel.

But, it was a relatively cheap experiment... trying to run it on an AMB Sempron processor, so it's about what I expected.

I wonder how much of a demand iracing requires in bandwith and other areas compared to other sims. All this comp talk is making me want to do my rebuild now.

also anyone have tips on a netbook? i know we have many tech oriented people here.
