Default Road Atlanta enduro 2 WEEKS!

Car is ready I think. Thinking of installing hood pins and an oil temperature gauge. Anyone have a good way of securing net straps on the cage bars without welding?

Yep,
I added a left side net also. My center one does have wire loops welded to the cage but not so on the left side. What would you do to stop the straps slipping?

Billy, no oil cooler, and no oil temp gauge is asking for trouble in a 9 hour race. You can pick up a lot of crud that could impair cooling, and you want to know if it's becoming a problem. Ignorance is not bliss here!

Hope you guys have a good trip. My car is ready to go as well now -will see you there!

An oil temp gauage can help you figure out that issue as well.

True, an oil cooler is less of an issue (though if it's in the 70's I'd still want one on a 9 hour enduro in a 944), but a least the oil temp gauge Billy was thinking about is a very good idea. The first sign of an issue is often rising oil temps. Ask me how I know!

I ordered an Autometer Cobalt Oil temp gauge today. Pricey at 150 bucks plus 15 for a dash holder. I really want one hooked up to the data logger but thats about 500 bucks for the aux-vnet cable, a sensor, a gauge and so on. Maybe next year.
