Default I updated the Turn-by-Turn Wiki for RFR

I've got over 1000 miles at the track, but I am by no means any sort of expert driver. I put my knowledge of the track down in the turn by turn wiki, but I'd love to have some of the other people who have driven the course review my work!

Have at it! http://www.trackpedia.com/wiki/index...ernley_Raceway

sperry, very well written track run down.

I would like to get some more miles on the new 3 mile config. before I add anything about the upper section, but your assessment of the old track is outstanding.

I second Mattr's comments sperry very awesome write up. The vids of the tack make it look fairly flat is it really that way or is it just the camera playing tricks on me?

In the old configuration (sperry's two videos) it appears to be flat, but there is actually some decent elevation change. From the start finish, you are on a downhill slop all the way down in to turn 5, then a quick climb at turn 7, and a gradual rise all the way to 12. the Fishbowl it the highest point on the old configuration, then you work your way back down to the front straight with a real nice drop right before turn 15.

Now, the new configuration has a ton of evelation change, some are quite severe and blind. The uphill s's are very vertical, and you can see the blind drops in the video as you navigate the technical section.

There really aren't many flat spots in this part of Nevada, and Reno Fernley is no exception.
