Do any of you read the SRF forums? ( http://www.specracer.com/forums/). There's a neat thread on an up-and-coming SR electric powered car. Can you say torque? Can you say 1000# of batteries?

I wonder how a giant battery would respond in a hard crash. Does Nomex protect against battery acid or heavy metal poisoning?
