The TrackIR4 video is pretty cool. Whoever is wearing it doesn't seem to look far enough ahead though. They don't look into the corner early enough and are late transitioning back and forth in the chicane.

WGI doesn't seem as interesting without the boot though.

Track ir is a little thing that you strap to your head that has 3 reflectors. You mount an infra red motion sensor to the top of your monitor and the system tracks your head movements and moves your in-game view accordingly.
Definitely looks like an accurate interpretation of the track! I think I would have to spend a lot of time with this sim to make the purchase price(s) worthwhile.
Still patiently awaiting the release of rFactor 2...

Stack... I am still waiting lol. Do not tempt with me with iRacing! I must not spend money and time I do not have lol.
At June Sprints one team was doing a demo later in the day of Road America. It was amazing! I can't even compare it to Rfactors version of the track. Driving Road America in Rfactor just messes with my head since I grew up at the track. They just need to learn better where spectators can not go. I am just put off by having to pay for subscription and content. And if you keep messing up you could possibly not get access to the content you purchased. Wish iRacing did something for workers like they do for drivers.

Same thing with VIR... and I'm sure it'll be the same with Road Atlanta when it is released.

This is completely un true. Where did you hear that? The only thing I can think of that someone might conceivably construe that is this: As your safety rating increases, and you keep it above certain levels, you become eligible for other race series. Faster cars, more tracks etc. You have to purchase said cars and tracks when you decide you want to compete at those levels. (Or you can do like I did and buy those cars and tracks anyway.)
You can buy everything, or nothing you want. Your safey rating simply makes you eligible to compete officially with that content. It's still yours to keep and drive on by yourself. If you've gotten to a certain level for the Skip Barber cars (for example), but you let you Safety Rating slip below the minimum... and you have not brought it back up before the end of the "season" (12-weeks), then you lose that license (and the priviledge to compete.) But you certainly don't lose your content, or the ability to use it un-officially.

Email them... I have no idea how it works, but they do have stewards that monitor races (at least after the fact) and deal with protests.
Worth a shot right?
