I had read about the cancer a some time ago but I didn't know his time was this limited.

I'm glad that he got a chance to turn a few laps on his "home" track before the end. Paul Newman, actor, racer, philantrophist, all around good guy.

My wife had the pleasure of meeting Paul at Riverside in California in 1978.

He is the hero of the geriatric track rat set (of which I am a humble member!)

We will keep Paul in our thoughts in the weeks ahead.

It'll be a sad day when he leaves this world. I've had the oportunity to meet him multiple times and it was an honor every single time. Such a great guy.
