Default New Magazine: High Performance Driving

I was at B&N the other day and picked up what I believe to be a brand new magazine called "High Performance Driving". On the front it says, "Required Reading For All Sports Car Fanatics!"...and I have to agree.

Link to their site (click on image):

The magazine was created by a Lotus enthusiast. Whether you're a track newbie or a veteran, this magazine has a lot of good info. It has no real advertising, instead their model utilizes sponsors.

It's a little pricey at $9 and change but it appears to be published only quarterly and includes a pretty good video. It's worth the $9.

Anyway, if you haven't seen it, I recommend checking it out.

I bought it a while ago to and found it to be interesting. I wanted to work with the guy to flush out topics here in a much more dynamic format than he has in the mag with the better written topics going in the mag. But he blew me off.

I like to think of TP as the 010001010101110 version of that magazine...except with the help of Bret Baily we have better grid girl pictures.

Rather than go to the original thread...rebel that I am. My wife got me the issue recently. I'd agree with most of the folks on the "other thread" its a good read especially if you are fairly new to track. One point though. My wife spoke to the manager of the magazine dept at B&N and his computer showed it to be a YEARLY pub. Probably not right but it does indicate that the publisher has no idea when issue 2 will come out.

Vince, if you can't find it I'll mail you my copy. (after I finish reading it) It took my wife visits to two locations to find it. OR...I buy a copy and mail it to you. Let me know.
