In case you haven’t heard the great news, as of July 1, 2007, Skip Barber Racing School is assuming management of Panoz Racing School’s programs at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia. Road Atlanta joins Lime Rock Park in northwestern Connecticut, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in the Monterey region of California, Road America in Wisconsin and central Florida’s Sebring International Raceway as a Skip Barber Racing base location. We are excited to offer our full complement of Racing Schools, Driving Schools, Advanced Activities, Race Series and Corporate Events at one of the great racing courses in the world.

To commemorate the partnership between Skip Barber Racing School and Panoz Racing School, we will match the price of Skip Barber programs running concurrently with Panoz programs at Road Atlanta between now and the end of September. all Barber programs are with their cars............. that's why even the high priced ones are a bargain IMO

The Panoz programs were not necessarily with their cars though. They did have some DE-type days, but I don't know the cost on them.

Panoz charged $275 for a Saturday and $375 for a Sunday. The 2 day combo was $600. Looks like SB is continuing that for the July date only for now. Before I discovered NASA, I used to do the Panoz track day program but could only afford 1 day rather than both. I liked NASA better as it was beter having an in-car instructor, it cost less, and there was the excitement of watching the races as well.

July 14-15
Panoz Track Days - $600

They need more of those on the sched....

Tons of track time.. 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off....Potential of 3.5-4 hrs a day if you can run it all...

If its that kind of track time you're looking for, depending on your experience level, you might be eligible to run one of my lapping days. My first will be at CMP August 3rd (a Friday). $175 for the day... run to your heart's and car's desire.

Beginning July 1, Skip Barber will execute previously scheduled Panoz Driving School and racing programs, utilizing Panoz GTRA cars but under the Skip Barber brand. Previously scheduled 2007 Panoz Racing Series events will use Panoz vehicles and will follow existing Panoz Series competition rules and regulations. In the future, programs will use Skip Barber vehicles and a combination of Skip Barber and Panoz Racing School staff and equipment.

Stacy, you know Road Atlanta > CMP by alot... apples to oranges my friend

maybe this will free up some scheduled weekends for NASA/PCA/BMWCCA/etc to hold more track weekends there
