I for one would certainly be interested in a group buy. Either the driftbox or the performancebox would be great; I know most people don't care about their drift angle, but IMO, this is pretty useful stuff - for a racer it's really your slip angle, and if you maintaining, say, 7*, that's pretty optimal. I would argue that information is worth an extra $250.

When people are talking about the suction mounts holding, is this in: a/ street driving, b/ HPDE, or c/ autox?

I won't be drilling any holes in my dash, and any external antenna mounting would be temporary. I want to move this from car to car; in 1 of my race cars, I already have a g2x which works very well.

Group buys are always welcome and I can certainly help you with that as long as it abides by any relevant forum rules.

As for the suction cups, barring tracks with regulations against it, all of the above! We have many customers who use them in a variety of ways and I personally have never heard even one complaint regarding the performance of the three suction cups.

Moving the Driftbox between cars is simple, since the unit is mounted with suction cups and does not use an external antenna (though that option is available), there's no drilling required. The only two things you need to move are the mount with the box attached, and the power cable.

I hope this answers your questions/concerns. Feel free to contact me if you need anything else!
