In fact I just installed a inside net this year. NASA rules. Was a bit annoyed to have to do so with the HANS, but in the end its seems like the right thing to do anyway.

Would prefer down.
But to reduce positive pressure in the cabin, roll down the rear windows a little bit too. It will help on high-speed tracks.

Down for the reason Stack said. Also like the feel of rain in my face. Having run an open top car for a couple of season, having a window down is nothing.
