HPDE Fan
Just registered. At this point I am an HPDE guy (and a new HPDE instructor). My home track is PIR (Portland International Raceway).
Track rat/daily driver is an E36 M3/4 (1998) with heavily moded suspension/tranny mounts/braces/track tires/track wheels etc.
Occasional track car is a Ferrari F430 (2006) that just gets the pads changed to play on the track.
This looks like a great site--I am looking forward to participating.

Glad you found us. Welcome.
Stack our Official Greeter will be along shortly, unless he is at Road Atlanta this weekend.

Welcome,
I'll bet that F430 is a pretty wicked car on the track.

Beats me--it hasn't been out yet. I did track my previous 360--certainly more capable than my limited skill, and there is also that whole not being able to afford putting it into the wall thing. Still, even at 8/10's, the 360 was remarkable--I can't wait to get the 430 out--it seems much more wicked on the street.

Hi Scotty,
Welcome. Are you coming out for the PCA event on 3/27 or the Lotus of Portland event on 4//3?
I've got intermediate and advanced students on 3/27 and I'm running the instruction program on 4/3, so I'll likely be a bit busy, but pls. track me down and say "hi" if you make it to either event. Graphite Gray Lotus Elise with the 'Ring sticker on the back.
This is a great site, one of the few where folks are generally respectful, considered, and gracious. I very much appreciate it for that, alone. You've stumbled on the only board I actually spend time on these days, and it's frequented by some great folks.

I'll be doing by first ever instructing gig on 3/27. I can't make the 4/3 day.
I'll be in a '98 Blue M3 4 door.
