If only NASCAR could be like this...
Just downloaded both V8Supercar races from the first round of 2007... WOW! 31 RWD V8 monsters through the streets of Adelaide is absolutely insane. Turn 8's a 120+ mph kink with absolutely no runoff.
Because of this series, this is the first time I have ever liked a GM-owned car... LOOK at it! 6.0L V8 RWD

Better still, thats basically the new Pontiac G8. I wonder if it will get the 540HP supercharger kit that the Europeans get in the Vauxhall/Opel VXR8.

Kbrew, if you were referrring to Andris, he is Canadian. And Warped Cow is well, just warped. Can't revoke or deport anyone for that. Nothing against Corvettes either, much bang for your dollar.
OT. I heard on a news station today that some international pole rated the USA #3 on the most disliked nations list. Canada was rated as the #1 most liked nation in this survay. I know way off topic, but I am filling in for Darkworx.

Yeah sexy car. but come ON with the brakes.. they look like nothing, especially considering the weight of the car.

The GM bean counters probably threatened to quit if they couldn't ruin at least one thing about the car. Maybe the brakes were their reward.

Brakes can be changed....I'd buy one. Nothing like making my carbon footprint just a little bigger.

That car comes with 19 or 20 inch rims if I remember correctly from that other thread about it. Just keep that in mind as a comparison. If you put 17s or 18s on it, the brakes would look huge (but I'm guessing 17s might not even fit).

www.racing-underground.com has all the torrents you could want... I got both races of the Clipsal 500 season opener since I got a fresh 20gb of bandwidth for the month. I'll see if I can convert them to DVD format.
The Commodore has several levels of trim... the SS has 18" wheels, while the SS V-series is bumped up to 19", but does have 20x8 as an option. Holden Commodore
