Haha thanks. That picture sums up my entire weekend at that Time Attack. That was my car's maiden voyage on the track since all of the modifications and I quickly realized one thing...My rear springs are WAY too stiff lol. They are 10k springs now and I am going to change them to 7k.

Holy concrete sled batman! 10k lb springs??!? Is that really what people are putting on the 350z ? I know you got lots a power in that thing, but unless you're planning on scorching places like Daytona or Taladega with 20+ degree banking all day long... there's no WAY you could ever need that much spring (IMHO of course)... you might as well have angle irons for struts dude - please explain

I bought the coilovers used and aparently the seller didn't know what he was talking about. It feels like a drift setup. Its increasingly worse since most of the weight that I took out of the car was in the rear.

ok... that makes a little more sense I was hoping someone didn't recommend those rates.
Before you go having some 7000lb springs made, please ask around some of the proffesional racers on My350z.com ... I can't imagine they are running anything anywhere close to those kinds of numbers (I have been known to be wrong though lol). The highest I ever heard anyone mention for road racing spring applications, for ANY car was in the 1000-1200 lb range... most though are in the 500-700lb range.
Suspension is very weird... most of it is counterintuitive

I have seen two different ways of measuring spring rates. One being the 10k, 12k way and the other being the actual weight like you have listed. I am not quite sure what the K means, but I am pretty sure that 10k=1,000 lbs. 12k=1200 lbs, etc. So if I refrase that, I am going to switch to 700 lb springs. . JIC lists their options in the 10k/12k format, though I can't imagine that they are actually 10,000 lb and 12,000 lb springs.

I honestly dont think that it is even possible to get 12,000lb/in springs. That is some major MAJOR stiffness! I really think that it would be almost hard welded at that weight.
1200lbs is pretty nuts if you ask me. I know the 355 challenge cars run 2000lb springs for the fronts and 700lbs in the rear and those cars are just ROCK ROCK solid.
I love the pics however.
