I'll tell you one thing. On a 911, PFC 01s in front with Pagid oranges in the rear dont work. Well they work, but not well. Way too much front bias. Asl me how I know...

Hey lurker! Welcome to the forums finally!
My understanding on the BHPs is that they brake more aggressively, but are easier on rotors than Carbotechs. As long as you bed the pads in properly, I don't see a problem using the rotors, but that would be a better question to ask Matt directly.

anyone running a stock e30 here? planning to run HT-10s all around with cooling ducts. small concern about over-cooling the ht-10s but haven't heard of that being an issue so far.

What to run next year?
During 2008 I did the following.
Started with
F: 312x25 (boxster calipers) Ferodo DS2500
R: 300x22 (B5 S4 rear caliper) Textar OE Audi
I then changed my rears so the setup was
F: Ferodo DS2500
R: Ferodo DS2500
I'm up in the air over what pads to use with my new brake setup. By the end of the year I'll have a new front brake package with 996 calipers and 320x30mm rotors up front. I'm keeping my 300x22mm rears.
I'm considering Hawk HT-10 or 9012 for my 996 calipers as they are less costly for me than the 996 DS2500 pads yet noted as having an operating temp range akin to the the DS2500 compound. I'm keeping my DS2500 rears for now till I've worn them down which might might take the better part of a season. I've got stock spare OE textar pads for both front and rear.
Anybody with experience using both HT-10 & 9012 compounds care to share?
Thanks

It's probably about time to update this thread with a new one, with more choices. HT10 has become THE pad to have here in the south for the most part.

I like Ferodo DS2500, no fade on the track for me, and they have enough cold bite that I can leave them on all spring/summer/fall, I change them out only when I switch to snow tires.

Tried Hawk DTC60's recently. They are great. Need some warm-up. When they stop squealing they are god to go. Very easy on rotors. Low wear and great feel.
