Just finished building a Kirkham Cobra and will start playing in NASA..... next year.... I just loved the body style of a Cobra....

Default unofficial welcome!

Welcome!! For the record... you just can't tease us with mention of a racing cobra like that and not share pictures.... sounds like a beauty!! There are a few vintage types hanging around here who will really appreciate that!

Billy, close your eyes... no PSM on this thread!!

Holy Chit that is a sweet looking ride!!

Is it a Factory Five? They are certainly becoming very popular round the southeast too.

I think Factory Five's are Fiberglass... that's an Aluminum Kirkham, right?

Wowwwww..... Very nice. Gotta say.. that picture got my heart racing faster than those B&Ws that Billy posted!!! (Of course, that might be an indication of some other problem, or perhaps my advancing years!!)

Man that is absolutely awesome Morris! Is the front splitter your own creation or was that part of the kit? I love the bare metal as well. Beautiful!

Conan....I hope we can be around the paddock up here in the Midwest.....

Stack .... Thanks for the welcome......and it's a Kirkham/Morris .....

jstecher....The Air Dam and Aero package is something we designed and built..... after much tuff testing and knowing where to put stuff.....

The frame has a 1/4" flat plate that runs from the splitter all the way to the rear of the car..... strengthens the torsional twist and smoothes out the bottom of the car.....

We are very interested in getting it on a track to work out the bugs.... but in the end hope it quick as well....

Here's the bottom.... and it works very nicely.....

Welcome Morris. I have to say after looking at your front air dam / splitter you must have super springs and shocks on your Cobra because it looks like you could slice cheese or cold cuts with that. How many events do you figure it will continue to look that way?
