Advice for attending 24 Hours of Le Mans
Hi everyone! I am hoping to get my boyfriend tickets to the 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 12-13 2010. I have no idea where the good seats are, where to stay once there, etc.... any advice at all from anyone who's attended would be super helpful and greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you!

I'm surprised no one here has done LeMans...
If its anything like the American Petit LeMans your ticket gets you in and you can walk around to a bunch of areas on the track, get in to any grandstand, just about everywhere except the hot pits and private areas.

I did stumble on this site that looks like it would be helpful ...

I know, it looks like a spam address... but it isn't. A bunch of guys who have a camping guide for lemans. If I win the Lottery, I'm definitely going and partying with these guys!

I have been to the Bugatti Circuit for track days with our European NSX club but never to the actual 24 hour race. However, I would not be surprised if you will need to buy a "package deal" from some company if you plan on staying anywhere near the track (and don't forget that the race takes over a much larger geographical location than just the Bugatti Circuit since it uses the roads in the surrounding town). The closest I could get was the Novotel in LeMans and we did not even have a true race weekend and that was about 15-20 minutes away with no traffic. I would imagine that traffic for the 24 Hours would be a nightmare.
If you check the 24 Hours of LeMans official site you will see various price levels for tickets. Your access will depend upon the level of ticket you purchase.
