Hey Guys, I'll be running tech inspection at this event but we are really in danger of having to cancel the event due to a lack of participants. We badly need both students and instructors. We've reached out to other clubs like NJ chapter of BMW CCA which is holding an event at the same track on the 26th (Do you fancy a three day run at Lightning?) ACNA-NJ has already had to scratch the advanced/instructor only day on 10.23, please help us keep the event on the calendar.

Regarding the Driving School, we are also in danger of needing to cancel the event, again due to the low number of registrants. As such we will make a formal decision no later than Friday, October 9th. We are asking for your help in recruiting and are offering a $50 discount to any student you recruit. We hope one last push for registrations will be enough to have the event.

We will have pre-tech on Friday night at the Country Inn in Millville from 4-8pm, along with a last-chance inspection on Saturday morning at the track from 7-8am.

this will be a great close to the season for NE guys. I'm doing the NJ BMW CCA event on Monday to make it a 3 day weekend. come on out! lightning is a great, fast track!

I wish my $$ was in order I would be all over this. Well that is if they allow 4200# Mopar Wagons play

Ill post up on a few forums I am on and see if any one is intrested.

Hey Robert, Thanks for cross posting the event info.

BTW... a 4200lb wagon is A-OK since it isn't an SUV. I've seen everything from a Seven varaint (~1000lbs) to an Audi S8 (~4000lbs) on on track at HPDE events held at Thunderbolt.

Just wondering, what kind of numbers to they run per session on HPDE's on Thunderbolt ?

I'm not sure but I can probably find out what ACNA-NJ ran during our last two events at Thunderbolt.

BTW... I'm certain I've seen a wagon like yours on track with ACNA but I think it was at Watkins Glen.

a got out on the West Coast has been tearing up tracks for the past 3 years, the looks he gets passing people are pricless.

and thanks for looking if you could. being over 2 miles I woudl think 25-30 maybe.

Hey Rob, I think for this event we are looking at 22-26 students per group. I think we were close to that figure at previous events at Thunderbolt.
