Default May 7 Donnybrooke DE Pictures and Commentary
Well the weather didn't cooperate much in the morning. As billy mentioned in another thread, the Ultima GTR did about seven 360 degree spins over the first 1/8th mile of the drag strip. It fortunately escaped with very minor body damage and some busted taillights. This guy doesn't even trailer it to the track, and I'm pretty sure he was able to drive it home.

I had a lot of fun, both in the wet and the dry. I ran with a G2X most of the day so hopefully John or Rob will pull that off and post it sometime The brake pads I was using were complete crap though (Hawk Ceramics). Couldn't even get any ABS action... IN THE RAIN! Gonna try Porterfield R4S pads next as Conan had them and liked them alot.

What happened next was very scary. I saw my buddies car catch fire VERY quickly at 140MPH, huge flames and lots of smoke. Thank God John wasn't hurt. The DSR however is no more:
