Default Hey Billy....

What are the ohms readings for the 944 fuel sending unit? I need an aftermarket gauge but don't know what our range is. You recently changed yours right?

Brent..check out Clark's Garage info:

I would get a simple potentioneter and hook it in place of the sender to get a cal on the gauge

http://www.mouser.com/Search/Product...WPueaOf%2f8%3d

does the 944 use the same 76-6 ohm scheme as a 911?

I am guessing not...........

The sender is a VDO part which typically is a 90-0 ohm one.

Thanks for the info, I'm planning on putting a fuel guage in using the sending unit in the fuel cell, supposedly the same output as a late 944. should have checked "the 944 bible" Clark's garage first.
