My freefall down the slippery slope
Ok, Im in all the way. No turning back. My last event (end of July) was the icing on the cake. My wife followed me up to WGI to relax, spend some time at the track and go antiqueing.
As with any event, the ride home is killer. We had to drive 2 cars home. Were both tired, communicating via cell phone and hand signals. IOW, hell.
During that ride home we both took our subconcious thoughts and feelings and verbalized them. Never again will be go to a track event in two cars. I started asking friends about their tow vehicles, trailers, experiences.
8 days later we took delivery of a leftover crew cab f150. 2 days after that, we had a trailer.
For us there were just too many reasons not to tow but the clincher was not being able to spend quality time for the ride up and home from the track.
Heres how my season started:
Heres how it will be carried out to the end:

Tiato, funny thing about the slope...it gets more slippery and steeper. Your just getting started. For instance that steel trailer will be replaced by an aluminum one in a year or so. Ask me how I know.
Nice car BTW.

LOL First track day this year to the latest track day this year.....
But the Shagvan and trailer are still in the Trackpedia family
Glad to see there are others sliding down the slope so rapidly!!
