Announcing the opening of registration for our June 3rd, 2007 WDCR PDX!!

I know many of you have been waiting for registration to open for our
2nd event of the year. Wait no more! Please go to the WDCR-SCCA.org
web-site and follow the link from there finding the June 3rd event on
the calendar.

The Washington DC Region of the SCCA is pleased to announce the opening
of registration for our second Time Trials Event, a Performance Driving
eXperience or PDX. Here you will learn and hone skills of high
performance driving on an open track with the assistance of skilled
instructors. The day consists of classroom training along with 4 twenty
minute track sessions of high performance driving on the Summit Point
Main circuit. This circuit is excellent for learning high-speed driving
as well as honing your car control skills in any sort of weather.

The cost for the day is $200.00 and we will be providing lunch for all
entrants, volunteer workers, instructors and staff. Please go to the

ALL of these positions.

Here is the basic information to get you started:

What: WDCR SCCA Time Trials - PDX event

When: June 3rd, 2007

Where: SPMSP -- circuit, Summit Point Main

Who: Licensed drivers - minors have to meet certain criteria - see the
Sups posted on the registration page.

How Much: $200.00

The first event (March 31^st ) was a huge success with lots of great
comments and excellent suggestions by the attending students. Please
join the wdcr-time-trials yahoo group to read about their experiences.

Volunteer workers (VW); many of the people who made the first event
really enjoyed it and are now HOOKED on time trials and the SCCA!
Remember, we have nice incentives for Volunteers Workers.

1) Each event that you work counts towards the Region Worker dues/perks
program.

2) We provide you lunch and a staff t-shirt.

3) Your also offered one of the following two incentives; Work three
events, you get an free PDX event for yourself (or a $25.00 gas card)!

Please just sign yourself up using the volunteer icon, or if you are
attending as a student driver, sign up your friend or significant other
to introduce them to the experience as well!

Instructors and instructor candidates, please sign your self up just as
before and contact Matthew Yip (mgyip@...) or Lin Toland
(Lin@...) for more information! Please remember your
commitment dates from the Instructor Clinic and sign up now, if you
committed to making the June 3^rd event.
