I don't know what I'm more in awe of, Walter's skill or the courage (stupidity?) of the fans. How more didn't die I don't know. I just couldn't imagine driving into a parting crowd like that at such speeds. The man is truely incredible though

All those clips from those days are insane. It is amazing more didn't die.

Can't beat that at all for footwork skills. I think I saw the pedals smoking.

Speaking of footwork... I'm working on using a video setup for Road Atlanta that will have two or three cameras... plan is to have one for steering/footwork. Hopefully it will come out nice and we can overlay it along with the GPS data

I, too, plan on getting some incriminating evidence on camera. I want to see just how bad my footwork is. I've been filming myself playing tennis and it's amazing the difference between what you think you are doing and what you actually are doing.

That video is nuts for the reasons already stated: The amazing ability of Walter, and the insanity of the targets, er, I mean, the fans.
