Hello friends! I think I'll be seriously be pulling the plug on my Emma (996 TT with full RUF Nardo mods) :( tis a sad event indeedly, but the price seems right. I'm here for suggestions on what to get next (if anything). My personal criteria on a new auto would be a few things.

It should pull mid 4 seconds stand to 60, kinda fun (meaning not feeling like a truck), and NOT a Corvette. :p

I would also have to be able to live with it, meaning a semi-daily commuter, not one of these uber track gods.

I'm completely out of thoughts right now...so suggestions would be nice! And Billy, John, Conan, and Lobo...you all know my tastes... see if you could sway me... oh did I mention, NO VETTES:mad:

After watching much of the American Le Mans Series, I've got a hankerin' for one of those Aston Martins.... especially if you don't like Corvettes!!

Aside from being femoninally one of the highest priced cars on my list, why no Lamby? would guess it would be on the top of the list...

 for livability wise, and not to explode the pocket, I'm leaning on the SLK 55... it really looks usable, though I'd look like a little kid in the car, but the ride won't be as harsh as the RUF, and well...it's a Mercedes...Please keep in mind I still have the Cayenne RS (Really mod to the balls 400WHP monster Cayenne S) to thump around on those long drabby Vancouver days...and I'm going to have to become my little sister's driver (She's going to highschool now)
But yes...please give me more than "It's ugly" "It's expensive" and "Noooooooo! NOT A Blah-blah blah..."

I need to weigh it out seriously...and what better place than here, in the midts of you great guys...

Sorry Jim, no DSR...I can't drive that in the rain and cold. :(

If I where you, I'd keep Emma and get some adaptive suspension on it. Then use regular sport seats.

The Aston V8 would be cool, best looking car in a long while including Porsches/Lambos and Ferraris, just a little heavy but if you're not tracking it then who cares.

I think we need a requirements list. Tracking/Not Tracking, etc... I am a big fan of the looks and performance of the Aston, but I suspect servicability will have to show up on that list somewhere. Not sure if Aston's have a track record there, or if there is a repair infrastructure.

with SBC power, the Mosler has an edge on parts and repair........

Silly question. Keep the RUF.

I'd rather keep the RUF, or maybe go for the Aston simply because of its looks, but if you're thinking AMG, let me know. I've thrashed several of the cars in the lineup around a racetrack and driven more of them around in more "normal" conditions.

The SLK looks good, but it is SMALL. If that's ok with you, then go for it. Let us know what you're looking for and I'll see if I can come up with any insight. :)

Tell us more about the baby AMG? It sounds awesome having seen the one at F1 races.
