Someone on another site found this chart. This was created by a Euro magazine to compare the different types of F/I systems. The Comparison was on a single Euro V8 (sorry, I don’t know which one), with kits that advertise similar Peak HP Numbers. This really shows the differences of different approaches.

Wow.. really shows why the 'die hard' power guys are all about superchargers, but never centrifugal. Torque advantage of the turbo is surprising. Those roots/twin screw curves are pretty damn sexy though.

I am shocked as all hell at the advantage of the Turbo is torque but then looking more at the chart I can see that there is a hell of a big difference in the overall boost from the Turbos and superchargers.

Also the turbo lag is pretty easily seen...gotta be a wicked little surprize to hit 3500-4000 RPMs in the middle of a turn! :) I have a feeling you might end up breaking here a little loose!

Yeah think how small of an angle 500rpm is on your tach.. now imagine tripling your horsepower as the needle traverses it.. blech. Moral of the story is to never get below 3500, right?
