Hey everyone, There is a great Open Track Day being held on July 26th in Dunnville, Ontario Canada. Its very reasonably priced ( $150-$100 per car)and the track itself is very well laid out with its new segments just freshly paved! Its truly a thrill to drive. TalonTuner... 1st of all, let me officially say:

Welcome!

So glad you found Trackpedia... we sincerely hope you enjoy it. You'll quickly find that all of us here are motorsport enthusiats, and can't get enough of anything and everything having to do with cars on track. One very prominent ideal you'll find in just about everything posted on here, is the aspect of safety. Both on and off track, many of our discussions deal with this obviously important issue.

Now... speaking for myself... after looking at the info and videos of the venue, I'll be very blunt: It scares the hell out of me. As an event organizer and participant, and based on the info available, I can come up with a grocery list of dangerous issues with an event and a venue like this. Here's a taste just based on the videos:


No corner workers
No barrier between the hot track and the pit staging area
No barriers or safety buffers between potential run-off areas and hot track
Condensed and high-speed (not a good combination)
