Haven't played it yet myself, doubt I will anytime soon... but thought I'd share these couple images from GTPlanet:

That looks awesome from the incar! I probably won't pick up the Prologue though since I have enough things to keep me occupied. I can wait for the full release.

Oh so the incar view just made me poop my pants. Thats about as real as it gets!! Absolutely blows rfactor or anything I have seen on computer away...I mean way away!

DAMN!!! That's severely tempting me to go buy a PS3 when the full version comes out. But time will tell

The guy who did the review for GTPlanet speculated that this could mean a full fledged F1 game/sim from Polyphany Digital

Well I would, but I just bought a new HANS, 2 helmets, suit... paid for crash damage. Plus I just hunted for and bought a Wii for my mom over christmas. I can't afford a PS3 now. Need to start racing and making money before I can purchase anything else.

I know I said I was going to wait untill GT5 came out with the full version, but I finally bit the bullet and got a PS3, along with GRID of course. Hopefully it will hold me over for GT5. (price was too good to pass up)
Now I just gotta find time to get the online stuff working :shift:

Look forward to beating you guys on a platform as well as PC

When is GT5 arriving then? My rFactor setup is dead now with my PC failing and I bought a Mac to replace it so thats the end of rfactor. GT5 may be the next option.

Billy, my brother just bought a mac and is doing a dual boot with XP Pro so he can still run rFactor. You may want to look into it cause GT5 (full version) wont' be out until next year.

Damn, is the prologue worth buying? I need something more to play.
After 2 days with GRID, I've already got up to the highest license in the NA and Euro ladders with 28 straight wins to date (yes it's on the hardest difficulty, and I haven't hooked up the G25 yet either.)

You need to sign up on iRacing Ty ... you might actually get rewarded (or at least acknowledged as an "alien") for your sim racing prowess.

EDIT: But you'll have to do it clean ;)

In all honesty, my "sim racing prowess" isn't even close to as good as my real racing ability.

I'm always clean, I don't drive agriculturally like some other people on this forum, and if anything I'm under agressive playing online.

Like I said in the other thread, I'm seriously considering buying into it, I just want to make sure I'll have the time.

Ouch. What's wrong with using grass?

Ouch. What's wrong with using grass?

A) Your not the only person I was thinking about when I typed that
B) There's nothing wrong with it, although do they not penalize you for that in the game?
Furthermore, I have driven on some tracks where I have been afraid to run off track for fear of catching a rut and flipping.

LOL ... mike only uses the grass in real life  Does NASA penalize for anything mike? ;)

Yes, they penalize you in-game.

No, there aren't any penalties in real life (dangers, maybe).
