A friend of mine from the car club wanted to give it a shot last night, but was having firewall troubles. Is there a quick & easy setting in RFactor to fix that?

I posted something about this over on the main FBMW thread earlier, just wondering if I could get the IP or server site so I can access it manually since my internet matchmaker rarely works and I want to be able to test the connection before saturday

I am waiting for Gunny to post the IP. I dont know it or have access to the server. If he doesn't post her here before tomorrow night I will call him and ensure its up before Saturdays race.

To fix matchmaker (third time posting)
If you have problems seeing the server in your rFactor menu you need to change a setting in your multiplayer.ini file.

So open up rfactor>UserData>"your Profile"
open up Multiplayer.ini

Look for
Concurrent Server Updates="400"

Change the 400 to 900 and you should be good to go
Concurrent Server Updates="900"

IP address of the server is 24.127.112.63:30297

I've changed that file and it still doesn't work. the problem is through the online matchmaker that won't connect at all. On the occasions when it works, I can find the server easily.
Thanks for the IP

Set the feedback to high and the force feedback percentage to like -70% range. Thats what feels best for me. Also make sure you have downloaded the latest Logitech driver as I have found it makes a difference.

Do I need to touch the Momo Profiler thing or just let rFactor handle it all?

Next thing I don't like is the abrupt coastdown on throttle lift... also, the infinite TQ in any gear is flawed but maybe it's just this VW

I don't know if any of you use the Gear HUD with the big xtra tach display, gear indicator is in it along with MPH & Fuel.

You can change it from PIC #1 to PIC #2 quite easily with this download.

You can get the ugrade here, post #11
