I was in another forum and noted that our own 'Curious' has a name over there of 'Evil Twin'. That reminded me of a evil twin in my past....
As there is little bike activity here, I thought I'd post something on my twin...
The bike was built is the early 80's for the AMA Battle of the Twins Class. I had both Amateur and Pro level riders and we did best when we were forced to run up a class when I had a pro in the saddle. Actually made $ at Mid-Ohio, rare for club racer type guys.
The bike was basically a 750 Triumph Twin that evolved from an old AMA Dirt Track racer.
Frame: 1968 Triumph
Motor: 1975 Triumph 750cc
Exhaust: custom by our shop, Robinson Rochester
Suspension: Marzocchi
Wheels: Dymag magnesium
Rearsets: custom fab
Brakes: Full Brembo
It had a few cool things I designed and did most of the fab on:
Front Anti-Drive Braking via compound action progressive linkage
Rear Anti-Squat Braking via Linkage
