I can't do it. My girl is at state and central swimming championships so no can do.

I really want to.. (11 sessions for $220!) but it's just too soon. Especially knowing now that our SCCA even doesn't have a PDX I'd love to use the money for that, but Aug 3-5 is RIGHT around the corner.

Knowing what a value and event it is I'm making it a priority next year.

What ended up happening with the brakes? Did they finally warranty it?

Yeah, I'd like to go too, but the 416 is sitting in a puddle of its own waste, and I figure I've gotta clear that up first!!

I drove it for the master tech, he felt the vibration under braking right away. It was just new front rotors, yes covered by warranty. Dunno why it took two trips for them to figure it out though :stupid:

Oh, Billy, can I take one of your loggers up for the weekend since you're not going :D

What dates is it Warped? I have Ken having a logger August 11-12 and then Rob August 15, and 25-26. But outside of that I am happy to loan her out.

3 - 5 Probably too soon for me to pull it together as well... That puts the next BIR event to Sept, and the Next RA even until last weekend in Aug. Are we all doing nothing until then? Who's running what when?

Mark your more than welcome to join Rob and I down at Blackhawk on that day. Its cheap and fairly close to home for you. Hoping to shake down Rob's car after he gets all the new suspension stuff installed before racing it with the SCCA on Aug 25-26 at RA. So I can also use this to lean on you about advice on RA. :)

Sounds like a plan, and you know I'll give you any help I can. I'll start to paperwork to see if I can get the day off...

I will be at BIR racing.

Hopefully the car will be fixed by then...
I have had a few issues getting it fixed. The replacement oil tank was the wrong model. New (used) one on the way.

The fiberglass spoiler came damaged, but repairable. Then it was not formed right and did not fit. The old spoiler/engine lid is still good, but needs to be put back on.

The rear bumper is on and the bodywork done except for paint.

I have some other little issues that the mechanic needs to fix (cracked windshield).

As of yesterday, there were 11 cars in my class and only 2 or 3 are solidly faster than me. There rest of us will be very close and can take the others on any given day. Maybe the faster drivers procrastinate more on registraton?

Does anyone who's going to either drive or spectate want to split a hotel room? Looks like things are getting full...

I'll be flying home on a Jetplane :( The car just wants to go so back but I fear I would fall asleep from the jet lag running down that looooong 10-1 run!!

Oh and it's the kids birthday so I'd be in deep trouble if I missed that again.

Have a great time guys, you're gonna be tired after 11 sessions!!

I'll buy it for $350, take the VIN plates, then sell the rest of it as parts to Rob/Billy/EJ for $300 :D Sound good to you guys? Only $100 each...

Take it to BIR and sell parts during DE's and you will make more than $300!
