Just ordered my set of KDW2's and literally maybe 3 MINUTES after the order (still hadn't even put away the credit card) I got a call from Nate reminding me that the tires were non run-flat. That's just awesome.

Went through the banner on the support page too, so I did my part.

I always end up happy with TireRack but I have a story about some pre-track anxiety they caused me.

In my class, 15" was max size when I bought 4 new wheels and Avon R from T-R. They arrived the day before I needed them, so a tad of buffer. I put the front 2 on and all seemed fine. I went to put number three on and noticed that what I thought were 205/50-14 had stickers on them 225/45-16. I paniced. I looked at #4, same sticker..... oh-oh..........

Well it turned out that all 4 tires were the correct thing, Avon had put the wrong stickers on, T-R never noticed... but wow, was that a moment on day -1 of my racing career!

In fact, I have to but some more rims and tires from them soon!

wow that's good. I'd imagine they came on a pallet with all of the other 14" pieces and they didn't really HAVE to look. Crazy stuff though.

Make sure to use the banner!

Cool Rob glad to hear your story with them has been as good as my experiences have been. They have never let me down buying any sort of product and have always been supportive if I needed questions answered.

+1 for tire rack, though I wish they carried Toyo and Falken also. Rob I'm glad you had a good customer service rep. I had one instance years ago when ordering Hoosiers when I was told a 275/40/17 rear would not fit my RS America. I told the young man that was the size I was ordering and if he had a problem with it I'd call Euro Tire. When the tires arrived (promptly as always) the receipt had CUSTOMER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY etc, etc. stamped all over it. :D Otherwise they are great.

I had them call me to verify sizing when I ordered some fat tires for my 535i. I told them I was already running that size and knew it would work. Can't really blame them for checking, and it probably saves a lot of people (that don't know any better) some trouble.

I ordered a set of tires from them a few years ago and they sent me three 205/50/15 and one 195/50/14..... opps. It took a while to get them to fix it for some reason, but hey, everyone makes mistakes and they fixed it eventually. I haven't had any other problems with them or the other 4-5 sets of tires I've ordered.

I've had excellent service 99% of the time with The Tire Rack. The only negative experience I had was when I called to get a copy of an invoice for a mail-in rebate. The woman on the phone must have been having a heavy period or something because she was a complete bitch about the whole thing. Other than that, they have always delivered my orders with a quickness and have always provided good customer service.
