Fellow Track Heads,
Stumbled on over here via two paths: John's posts on the DSR forum link to this place in his signature (sportsracer.net if you're interested), and I've organized events with Stack and mhoward (Stacy and Marty) when I lived in Raleigh NC.
Currently live in Ottawa, Ontario (born and raised here) but up until about 18 months ago, I had lived in Raleigh, NC for 5 years, which is where the track addiction began.
Over the past 6 years, I've tracked a C5 Corvette, E36 M3, and now Radical Prosport (vids and pics graciously hosted by another Radical owner at www.jakelatham.com/mgraham).
Glad to be here!

Welcome to the site. Nice looking car. Hope to see you run it sometime. That is if you ever get to the deep south.

Hey Matt, glad you found this site. I didn't realize you have only been back in town for a bit more then a year.

MATT!! woohoo!!
I's just thinking about you actually, trying to merge your two MotorsportReg accounts LOL. Any chance you guys will be making the trek down here again in April? Dave Thomas is coming down again this year (as far as I know, this will be his 4th or 5th year in a row driving from Canada).
You'll be happy to know that we not only got a full weekend run at VIR last weekend, but it was sunny all weekend! (yeah, it was 20 and 17 degrees Saturday and Sunday morning respectively, but once the sun came up, it warmed up to a tropical 40-45 degrees :D)
Anyway... glad you found the site... and to make it completely official:
 WELCOME!!

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Carm, yeah, this is only my 2nd winter back. I'm questioning my sanity for moving back right about now. :)
Stack, I have 2 MotorsportsReg accounts? Had no idea. I'm sure at the time I was thinking "damn Stacy and his automation, I'll teach him." :) (When I did registration for THSCC, the 'track team' was maybe 4 guys, and we did everything with Excel and snail mail). Come on up to Canada and check out Calabogie, LCMT, and Mosport. You've got a free place to stay in Ottawa. :)
Cheers,
Matt

Ken, Kim,
Thanks for the kind offer. The past two years I kicked of my season the weekend after New Years at an SCCA National race at Sebring (12hr course, a must for track junkies). However, 25hrs towing one way was too much for me to endure this year. So I'm defrosting with a short trip (no towing) to NC in March. :)
Lobo6, you didn't happen to be driving your Cooper S at Tremblant in July last year with NER did you?

Matt - Glad you found the site! Hope you can hang around a while and get some of those excellent video up here over time. :)
Next year if your planning on doing Sebring for the national I should be there as well. Talking with some folks here in the midwest we want to do Sebring and Homestead to kick off the year next year. Assuming the car holds together this year I would love to make it.
Now I have a question on your pigel shifter. You can PM me with response such as not to clog this thread with OT stuff, but I am wondering how well it has worked for you and if you can enlighten me as to how it works on downshifts. I have to fab a new linkage for my 05 R1 engine and I have been kicking around the pingel but just am not sure how well she works on downshifts versus the current Stohr paddle setup and just normal heel/toe.
Welcome again to the site and beautiful car!

No it wasn't me. My wife (Mrs Lobo) has tracked the MCS but never in Canada. In fact despite being registered for LCMT last year I had to bail out to due some medical issues. I only track the Porsche and now the wiley Mrs Lobo has done a few days of DE in the RS America and I can't get her out of my car.

Ah, I actually rode with a lady who was driving a Cooper S because her and her husbands 'normal' track car, a 911 of some sort, had issues. Wondered if maybe we had crossed paths already.

Well after hacking around looking for a codec I was able to finally play your videos all the way through Matt. LCMT looks like a lot of fun from your level. :) The Porsche ahead of you made a nice little two wheel off excursion. Had that happen to me last year with a BMW and the guy ended up upside down unfortunately.

We will cross paths soon I'm sure. :) There are a few P-car drivers who own the MCS also, a truly fun car.
If you show up with the Radical you'll recognize me. I'll be the one giving you a pointer before the corner so you can set up better for the exit.
