It's the first time I see/hear about it. Are they really going to make one? Supposely it has a V10 engine with 600-plus horsepower - but do they have to make it so darn ugly? :(

It is a good thing "ugly" is in the eye of the beholder. Wouldn't it be a boring world if we all liked the same thing? I kind of like the looks of it. It has some of the original, and enough new that it is not a copy.

Yes, that's for sure. Imagine all cars looking the same - although a lot of them already kind of do, don't they...;)

I just have a hard time with the "new look" that a lot of the car manufactures are adapting these days - I found it looks to square and edgy, I much more prefer the soft smooth lines. Take your car for example, I really love the looks of the BMW Z3 - I actually had one for a few years - but I just can't get used to the looks of the BMW Z4. I really tried hard to like it, but I just can?t.

I agree with you Toycar I dont like it as well. The engine numbers you have heard are correct and from my understanding its fast as all hell and will do 200 with the top down.

My biggest problem with new cars from America is WHY OH WHY do we have to be so lazy and just use body styles from the 60's? I know its to capitalize on the market of babyboomers being able to, and wanting to buy cars that they wanted in their youths but with modern ammenities (sp?). It all started with the PT Cruiser and then has exploded from there.

Now don't get me wrong the Ford GT is fast, and the above Shelby is as well but come on lets build something cool and new and unique. Lets not waste all the great mechanical work these folks did on an old shape, lets blaze some new path ore refind on a proven formula like Porsche and the Chevy Corvette team (who knew leaf springs could advance so much).

Anyway...whew that was another rant and a half!

Buzz you are right its a good thing ugly and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
