My '07 ride will be a 1990 Spec Miata.
I will also rent it at very reasonable rates (compared to what other slower SM's go for). It will be available for HPDE's, open track days, comp schools, and even races for approved drivers.

I'll run NASA Spec Miata, and MC weekends I have renters. I'll do a few autox's also.

How is it prepared then? Anything special on the car?

 Ken you are just brutal. I know 2 P-car drivers who also run spec Miatas. Here's an idea tow or drive your cars from the land of the Rising Sun to the Glen next summer and we'll see how a 14 year old 250 HP Porsche holds up. Track Masters will allow all makes. Just food for thought. :)

The Glen is safe, as far as any track is safe. You had no problems at Mid-Ohio and some people have called that track a bit hairy. :)

I only put 2 wheels off twice all weekend
the whole 10-hour-drive-home thing ya know ;)
When I start towing there and driving to win (and not just live through the weekend....)

Gotcha, but when the day comes and you drive WGI, you'll leave saying "I have to get back there asap".
